That is really cool. This is an edited reel, right? Or have you got one of the Processing audio libraries analysing the sound? I did visuals at some breakcore nights using Processing and the Sonia library and *this* would have been visually bang on for that. Very nice.

There are no edits in the video. It is one continuous render.
The video render runs much slower than real time though, so it knew its beats before rendering. But I used a process to analyse the beats in real time ahead of the render to get those values. A live version would be possible, but would need to be simplified a little to run in real time.
